Are the J.W's reaching a "Tipping point"?
by karter ini haven't been to a meeting in 15 years but my mother and sister are hard as j.w's.
the brothers they are appointing elders are at best suspect like one guy from my old hall made elder,big time drug used before becoming a j.w his talks are all over the place and would have struggled to make m,s years ago but with at least 60 to 70 % of young ones leaving the pool to pick from is at best reduced.. 2 other recent elders both young and zero life experience both on benefits one not well at all falls asleep all the time.. the decent,kind elders mostly older and are decent people with alot of life experience are burning out fast as there are so few of them left like 3 per congro of 100 publishers.. then you have the rich elders who wouldn't ever think of inviting some poor older or mis-fit person out to the expensive placers they go to as they couldn't afford to go so they are above the r&f and the r&f get pissed off with them.
then we have the ones who have "put the kingdom 1st" who are now old worn out and barely getting by from welfare cheque to welfare cheque that are saying "the system should have been over many years ago" it's still here and they are struggling everyday.. then there are the pioneers who have a low payed reduced hour job that seem to think anyone who has anything is totally materialistic and looks down on anyone getting a new car buying a house ect.. along with the child abuse issues,the generation change,access to information the the g.b don't want anyone to know ,not to mention the issues around blood.. is there a tipping point coming????

Well as a corporate executives with corporate interest as to profitability of an individual member being the bottom line I would say such statements by them are totally laughable and very very sad. It shows the depth of denial they are in over the sufferings they inflict upon those choose to leave the religion and now become the enemy and fair game for Jehovah's raging punishment and being shunned by family and friend(The Corporate party line viewpoint dead to Jehovah and the Organization interest).
They have the same type of sick or poison love Jehovah has which is: I love you I killed my son for you, now kiss my royal ass, shut up and do what every tell you to do or I will fucking kill you!

Unfair treatment provokes my anger I'm not really consumed by it and I'm not ready to let it go maybe later but not at this moment. I will let it go when I get good and ready which will probably be never or when they go bankrupt. Rushing things and saying that all is forgiven to me would just be another form of denial of my own shadow. I'm comfortable with my anger.
But I am not angry with myself for having been a JW and any anger I might occasionally feel toward myself I quickly redirect it towards the Governing Body.

the jehovah's witnesses will only compensate survivors of sex abuse if god tells them to, a royal commission has been told.. senior church figure geoffrey jackson told the sex abuse royal commission that any changes the jehovah's witnesses made to their rules and doctrine had to be informed by god.. mr jackson said god's word is accessed through the bible and the church's first-century interpretation of it.. chief commissioner peter mcclellan asked him on friday if the church would be willing to take part in a joint scheme with other institutions to provide financial redress to abuse survivors.. mr jackson told him the church would need to see that "nothing was scripturally against us doing that", but it was something that was not totally out of the "option pool".. the commission is also examining why none of the church's 1006 australian child abuse cases in a 50-year period was reported to police.. mr jackson said there was a biblical underpinning to the practice on not going to police, but the church would comply with secular law if reporting to police was mandatory.. he also quoted the bible to defend the exclusion of women from decision-making roles in the jehovah's and to argue that the rule of needing two witnesses to prove any wrong doing had strong scriptural basis.. he said women would never hold leadership roles in the jehovah's witness because the bible forbids it, quoting scripture which warns against women in the congregation becoming over excited and arguing with the church leaders.. justice mcclellan stressed it was important for women to be involved in deciding if a sex abuse allegation was true and in the support of victims.. a member of the church's new york based governing body which interprets and spreads the word to its eight million global followers, mr jackson said there was a possibility of considering the involvement of women.. he stopped short of apologising to those abused by elders but said it's "perceivable" the church would apologise if there was a collective decision.. counsel for the commission angus stewart, sc challenged mr jackson on the scriptural basis for needing two witnesses to a sexual assault.. mr stewart quoted deuteronomy, a book of the old testament, which says if a woman is raped in a field and screams and there are no other witnesses it is sufficient for the man to be stoned to death.. "is it not the case that had jesus been asked about a case of sexual abuse he may have referred back to this part of deuteronomy?
" mr stewart asked.. mr jackson said he would certainly like to ask jesus the question but could not at the moment..
